Rivera Select is an online market founded by Esteban Rivera, a Chilean entrepreneur and CEO of Mayana Chocolate, with a simple idea: everyday snacks should be exciting, delicious, and made with ingredients you can feel good about.
Growing up in Chile and later moving to the United States gave Esteban a unique perspective on food. When he first arrived in the U.S., his body went through a noticeable adjustment to a different food environment. He became increasingly aware of the contrast between the simple, familiar ingredients he grew up with and the highly processed options that are common in today's convenience-driven food market.
The United States is a remarkable country with an incredible variety of food, cultures, and innovation. But that abundance can also make it difficult to distinguish between products made with thoughtfully selected, quality ingredients and those designed primarily around speed, shelf life, and mass production.
That experience became part of the inspiration behind Rivera Select.
For the past six years, Esteban has worked in the chocolate and confectionery industry while becoming increasingly passionate about discovering products that combine exceptional flavor, quality ingredients, craftsmanship, and responsible production.
